Luhačovice
Town
The town of Luhačovice is situated near Zlín, on the wooded hills of a preserved area called Bílé Karpaty, or White Carparthians. Its spa tradition began more than 300 years ago. Together with the development of balneology in the Czech Republic in the beginning of the 20th century, Luhačovice was at the height of its vigor and gradually became a popular spa resort. In rare symbiosis, the beauty of the natural surroundings combines with the architecture of the town’s spa buildings, designed by the architect Dušan Jurkovič. In terms of size, Luhačovice belong among the world’s most significant spas.
Treatment
The spa specialized in the treatment of respiratory diseases, metabolic disorders and disorders of the motor system. The spa offers individual treatments and relaxation stays as well.
